With the exception of the little fox, this painting was created entirely with a palette knife, including the old corn crib. I enjoyed scraping the paint in different directions, the textures created by adding more paint over the previously applied layers, creating even more texture. I had forgotten how much fun using a palette knife for painting could be. Because I wanted more realistic detail on the fox, I used a brush for the fox's fur detail.
